Decolonizing Art and Music with Diversity

  • Dr. Foster James Penny Building (map)

This workshop is created and facilitated by Kimmortal

"In this workshop, I will give a short presentation on what has influenced my approach to my art as a performer by looking at the different artists/activists and artistic mediums that have informed my work. How is decolonization an integral part of my process and how can art be used as a tool for healing and empowerment? The interactive component of the workshop includes doodling, writing, collaboration, and movement exercises led by dancer, Joshua Ongcol."

This workshop is held at The Penny Foster Building upstairs, in room PB200. This location is wheelchair accessible by elevator. We will have vegetarian and vegan snack food and non-alcoholic drinks provided Bavaru Catering.

We have space for 20 workshop participants, we would appreciate if you emailed us at to reserve your spot!
